Parbhani, a District of Marathwada region, is predominantly backward not only in economic but also in social, educational and cultural aspects. It was a part and parcel of erstwhile Nizam’s State. Agriculture is the main stay of the people of this region. Hence, the freedom fighters decided to establish a society to cater to the educational needs of the poor and the studious students of the District. By taking into consideration all this matter, Nutan Vidya Mandir Education Society was established in 1916. Our Education Society Nutan Vidya Mandir Education Society was established and registered in 1964 under the Provisions of the Societies Registration Act 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. The society was established in Pre-Independence period i.e. 1916. In 2016, the Nutan Vidya Mandir Education Society has completed its 100 years and celebrated its centenary year. At that time, it was really a difficult task to establish an educational institute in the backward town like Parbhani. At present, the Nutan Vidya Mandir Education Society has extended its wings by adding one Pre- Primary Marathi Medium School, one Primary Marathi Medium School, one Primary English Medium School, one High School, one Junior College and one H S C Vocational unit.
