DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

Introduction:
Establishment in 1983 (right from the inception of the college) Economics is the most sought after subject by the students. It has a long tradition of out spoken faculty. Present HOD Professor K.K. Patil is a prolific public speaker and eminent scholar holding various academic positions at university, state and national level. He has addressed more than 109 seminar and conferences. As on today the department has produced two M.Phil. and 10 Ph.D. along with 07 scholars working for Doctoral research. The publication profile comprises of 60 peer reviewed papers in journals, 51 conference proceedings paper and 11 titles on various branches of Economics. Constant result (approximately 100%) is the distinctive feature of this dept, regular celebration of world population day, Bank Nationalization Day and discussion on union budgets have been establish practices of this department.

Objective :
  • To enable students to study state and national economic policies and make them able to acquaint with new trends in economic policies.
  • To enable students to adopt the principle of self reliance through self employment.
  • To motivate the students to participate in various competitive exams.
  • To encourage the students for higher education and research activities.

Introduction:
The Department of Political Science was established with opening of this College in June 1983.This Department is the integral part of Late Sow. Kamaltai Jamkar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Parbhani Prof. Dr. Bhagwat D.R. is Head & Research Guide of the Department. In the beginning there were very few student and two faculty member. In a short span of time department has earned lot of reputation and popularity for providing higher & quality education and fulfilling growing needs of the Society. Now this department is one of the favourite among the humanities.
